Brechbill and Helman Construction Company, Inc. has been awarded a contract by the Vigilant Hose Company #1 and the Shippensburg EMS to serve as the construction manager for their new facility. The 31,000 square foot multi story building will be located at the intersection of East Orange Street and Walnut Bottom Road in Shippensburg, PA.
Both organizations are chartered to save lives, protect property and are in need of new facilities. The shared space will allow the organizations to work together and benefit financially. The project will be registered with the USGBC in pursuit of a LEED Silver certification.
Construction is anticipated to begin in March 2011. Design team members include:
